application | Hexafluoropropylene (HFP) is one of the basic raw materials of organic fluorine industry, and is also the intermediate of a variety of fluorinated compounds. Under pressure, hexafluoropropylene can be stored and transported in liquid form without adding stabilizer.
By copolymerization of hexafluoropropylene and tetrafluoroethylene, polyfluoroethylene propylene (FEP) can be obtained. Compared with PTFE, FEP not only has the remarkable characteristics of melting processing, but also has excellent dielectric properties, electrical insulation properties, chemical solvent resistance, flame resistance, high and low temperature resistance, which can be used for a long time at - 80 ℃ - 200 ℃. This product is one of the monomers for synthesizing fluoropolymer materials (such as fluororubber F20-41, F246 and fluoroplastic F46). It can also be used as raw materials for perfluorinated sulfonic acid ion exchange membrane (for salt electrolysis), fluorocarbon oil and perfluorinated epoxy propane. It can prepare a variety of fluorine-containing fine chemical products, pharmaceutical intermediates, fire extinguishing agents and other raw materials, as well as fluorine-containing polymer materials.
